Obituary of Louise R. Toresco
Naples, FL – Lousie Rita Troesco, 93, passed away peacefully at home in Naples on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Born and raised in South Plainfield, Louise resided in Plainfield with her late husband Benjamin and started their family. Louse and Benjamin settled to Mantoloking Shores where she owned and operated a nautical gift shop in Bay Head. She later settled to Naples, Florida for the last 18 years.
Louise, a woman of many talents, quickly picked up the organ and successfully gave lessons during the week. She also was a gourmet cook, and loved to host her family and friends in her home.
She is predeceased by her husband Benjamin Toresco who died in 1989; surviving are her daughter, Barbara Toresco; two sons, Benjamin J. Toresco and wife Valerie and Robert Toresco and wife Debbie and brother Nick Mazro. She will also be missed by her five grandsons and six cherished great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 10AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-7PM.
