Ann M. Maurer Hock, 84, of Martinsville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in the loving arms of her family.

 

Born in New York, NY on December 29, 1937 to the late Charles Maurer and Anna Wolf Maurer, Ann lived the earlier part of her life in Long Island City and then in other nearby locations on Long Island.

 

Ann worked as an Administrative Assistant for Sperry Gyroscope/Unisys corporation, where she worked for many years prior to her retirement. This is where she met her husband, Joseph R. Hock, Jr. They moved from Queens Village, New York to Huntington, Long Island, where she spent much of her time caring for her child and home. They then settled in Martinsville, NJ to be closer to family.

 

Ann spent her life living. She loved to dance, bowl, and play tennis. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed various arts and crafts, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.

 

Ann is survived by her daughter Doreen L. Hock-Beim and her husband Robert Beim of Basking Ridge and three grandchildren, Zachary Joseph, Daniel Charles, and Anna Lily Marie. 

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Rd. Middlesex, NJ 08846

 

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 29, 2022 10am at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Martinsville. 

Entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
