Mary was a tremendous and blessed gift to our family; a gift that not everyone could appreciate. Mary was born at a time when Down's Syndrome children were still placed in institutions. By God's good grace, a Catholic doctor advised against it and our parents knew in their hearts to keep her home. Mary has been not only a gift, but an inspiration; a shining light of Jesus Christ, as she loved unconditionally. She has touched all our lives in a very special way.
In this life, she was perfect, as a creation of God; a happy, loving girl who brought Joy to everyone she knew.
Now, she is an angel in heaven who is praying for us.
"God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom..." 1 Co 1:25
