Obituary of Albina Butts
Green Brook, NJ – Albina (Rebernik) Butts, 91, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Vandling, PA to the late Joseph and Bertha (Rozic) Rebernik, Albina lived in Elizabeth and then settled to Green Brook in 1965 where she and Ray raised their family.
Albina worked for Prudential Life Insurance Company in Newark as a Bookkeeper. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved caring for others. She enjoyed polka dancing and trips to nearby casinos with her late husband Raymond. Albina enjoyed taking daily walks, watching episodes of Antique Roadshow but most of all, spending time with those she loved.
Predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Raymond and the last of eleven siblings; Albina leaves behind her daughters; Diane Butts and Lisa Tiemeyer and her husband Frederick as well as three grandchildren; Clay, Reese and Brooke Tiemeyer.
Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 beginning 8:45am.
On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, funeral services will begin 9:15am in the funeral home followed by a 10:00am funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Dunellen. Burial will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
