Kowsilia Maniapen, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Ashbrook Care and Rehab Center in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Born and raised in Guyana, Kowsilia moved to the United States in 1996. It was here that caring for her daughter Arty became her main purpose in life.
A visitation will be held at the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the funeral home. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 am.
Cremation services will follow at Rosehill Crematory, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ, at 11:30 am.
