Janet Marker

Age: 77 * Formerly of Piscataway

Bradenton, FL – Janet (Balut) Marker. 77, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at her home in Florida.  Born in Perth Amboy to the late Henry and Helen (Pierkowski) Balut, Janet was a resident of Piscataway from 1974-2020.  Until her death, she lived in Bradenton to be closer to her family.

She formerly worked for First Fidelity and Wells Fargo and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex.

Predeceased by her husband Henry in 2007, Janet leaves behind her loving son Erik and his wife Dawn of Bradenton, FL, grandchildren; Blake and his wife McKenna of Phoenixville, PA, Jensen Firth and Korey Martin, both of Bradenton, FL and great-grandchildren; Ava and Oliveah Trudeau and Cooper Crum also of Bradenton, FL.

Janet also leaves behind her siblings; Ken Balut of Perth Amboy, Henry and Eileen Balut of Union Beach, James and Ruth Balut of Old Bridge and Theresa Balut of Perth Amboy.

Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 4pm until 7pm and on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 beginning 9:00am.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 9:30am followed by a 10:00am funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex.  Janet will be laid to rest beside her husband at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
