Obituary of Elisabeth Loeffler

 Elisabeth Loeffler, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains with her son at her side.

Born in Germany, Elisabeth moved to Canada and later settled to the United States having resided in Roselle Park and Westfield before settling to Green Brook.

As a devoted wife and mother and grandmother, family was most important to her.  She also enjoyed music, cooking and feeding people.  She was a member of The Deutcher Club in Clark, NJ.   

Predeceased by her husband, Hugo and two brothers, Erich and Gerhard Baumeister, surviving are her son and daughter in law, Roland and Kim Loeffler, grandson, Erick Loeffler and his wife Callan Loeffler, two great grandchildren Jack and Hudson Loeffler and two sisters in law, Maria and Erika Baumeister as well as several extended family members here in the US and in Germany. 

Family and friends are invited to join together for visitation on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 1-3PM in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846.  A funeral service will conclude visitation at 3PM.

Cremation and entombment of her cremated remains in Hollywood Memorial Park will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
