Obituary of Andrea Dorothy Corcoran
Middlesex, NJ – Andrea Dorothy Corcoran, 73, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Somerville.
Born in South Bound Brook, Andrea was a lifelong resident of Middlesex. It was here she chose to raise her son, Ron, alongside her husband of 40 years, Charles.
Although she held many positions over the years, she will be most remembered as the Middlesex Borough CFO.
Outside of work, Andrea found joy in art. She enjoyed painting, clay work, and making pottery. She could also be found playing many games on her IPad, especially Words with Friends, which she played with her son.
Predeceased by her parents, Judson and Mary Van Doren, Andrea is survived by her husband Charles Corcoran; son, Ron and his wife Tara Corcoran; and grandchildren Ryan, Gavin, and Aaron. She will also be missed by her sister, Debbie,and her husband Dan Gilroy, and her niece Erin and her son Daniel, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.
At the family’s request, all services for Andrea will be held privately.
