Obituary of Nancy L. Rainford
Nancy L. Rainford, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2023 at home in Chesterfield.
Born in Passaic to the late Hans and Agnes Reim, Nancy resided in Metuchen and Edison for 40 years, where she worked as an accountant for Glaxo – Smith Kline Beechman. After retirement, Nancy and her late husband, Albert enjoyed traveling the world, settling in Chesterfield, NJ.
Nancy a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in South Plainfield, Nancy was also a member of the Chesterfield Kennagers.
Predeceased by her husband, Albert Rainford; surviving are her three children, Albert Rainford, Jr. and wife Cheryl, Sharon Rainford and Sandra Rainford as well as three grandchildren, Heather (Joe), Connor and Sarah.
Funerals services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080. Nancy will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Hillside Cemetery of Samptown, South Plainfield.
Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4-8PM.
