My deepest condolences to KC's sister. I use to drive KC to receive her treatments on Route 22, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday's. She had a list of people she could call to give her a ride. KC was a very friendly person. She was always willing to help the other person. I attended Saturday 4:30pm mass at St. Frances Cabrini Church last Saturday when I heard of her passing. I felt a chill go thru me. It was when her leg recovered that she was able to drive herself for the treatments and did not need my help. I am blessed to have known KC and be able to help her. May she rest in Peace.

One of my memories as a teenager was how disappointed and mad I was with my parents that they would not let me extend my vacation to stay in Hawaii with Aunt Kyllene. I was probably 18, which would make Aunt Kyllene 22 or 23 depending upon the time of year. As an adult I have enjoyed visiting with her in Waukegan, IL and Piscataway, NJ. And a short, but sweet visit, when she came to Atlanta. Her letters about her adventures were a delight to read. You could picture her smile and infectious laughter on each page enjoying every trip. It's hard to be so far apart and stay well connected. We'll be missing her adventurous spirit and zest for life.

Aunt Kyllene was a joyful person full of laughter and fun! She helped me navigate college admissions and understand the importance of finding an accredited nursing program back when I was the first in my family to graduate from college.
