South Plainfield - Jane (Jankowski) Horomanski, 101, died on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Cumberland Crossings Skilled Nursing in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

 

Born in Bronx, NY, Jane grew up in Kearny. In 1957, Jane moved to South Plainfield with her husband, Ray (Roman) where she resided until relocating to Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 2014.

 

A communicant of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield, Mrs. Horomanski was a longtime volunteer at the former Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. As a result of her dedication and love of volunteering, the hospital graciously recognized Jane after surpassing 5000 hours of service.

 

She is predeceased by her husband, Ray, son Bruce, sisters Wanda Ciborowski, Jean Taylor and brother, Walter Jankowski,

 

Surviving are her daughter, Carol Cox and her husband Paul of Mechanicsburg, PA., her grandson Stephen Horomanski, and great grandsons, Nathan and Owen.

 

Visitation will begin at 10:30am followed by an 11:45am funeral Service on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

 

Immediately following the funeral service Jane will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
