Please share a memory of Cesar to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Cesar L. Jose, 80, passed away surrounded by family early in the morning on Monday, October 27th, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born and raised in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, to the late Lorenzo and Veneranda Jose, Cesar attended the University of the East in Manila, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following school, he began a career in quality control.

In 1986, Cesar immigrated to the United States, settling in Piscataway, NJ, and was joined by his wife, Luvizminda, a year later. He continued his career in quality control, working for several companies over the years-- most notably Carteret Die Casting Corporation, and later ABCO Diecasters Inc., in Newark, NJ, where he retired in the early 2010s.

A devout Catholic, Cesar was an active parishioner of the Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Piscataway. There, he regularly volunteered for church events and served as a sexton. He was also a dedicated member of numerous ministries and prayer groups, including the Holy Trinity Prayer Group and Our Lady of Fatima Filipino American Association, where he served as President from 2016 to 2018. Cesar was deeply committed to his faith community, never missing mass or a group meeting, whether in person or via Zoom.

At home, Cesar was an avid New York Yankees fan and could often be found finishing a Sudoku puzzle, playing chess, or working on his computer. A math enthusiast, he loved applying his analytical skills to solve complex calculations. He valued a tidy home often deep cleaning every nook and cranny-- and took great joy in tending his vegetable garden.

Above all, Cesar will be remembered for his drive to be a man for others and his strong work ethic. He approached moments in life with a great sense of humor and always found a reason to laugh with others. Affectionately remembered by his family as a persevering and devoted father, his greatest joy came from time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, whose company he cherished deeply.

Predeceased by his parents, eldest sister, Lilia Lorenzo, and his family dog, Kennedy, Cesar is survived by his loving wife, Luvizminda Jose; children, Ismael (Tara Grace), Mia Zara (Richie), Franco (Katrina), Gemma Rica (Ravinder), Albert (Arlyn), Roderick (Maribel), and Julius; his many grandchildren, including Sarah, Sofia, Adam, Jameson Isaiah, Magnus Leon, Jackson Elijah, Lucian Marcelo, Lianne Jane, Eloiza Marie, Alyssa Ashley, Alessandra, and one on the way, Iris Sareen; and his granddog Albie. He will also be missed by his sisters, Vilma Agustin, Maria Ramales, and Corazon Reynon, as well as a host of extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM. Novena prayer will begin at 3 PM.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 501 New Market Road, Piscataway, NJ, on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM.

Following the mass, entombment will take place at the Mausoleum of the Holy Spirit at Resurrection Burial Park, 899 E. Lincoln Avenue, Piscataway, NJ.
