Obituary of Helen Guzzo

Helen Guzzo South Plainfield - Helen Guzzo, died suddenly on Friday October 30, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Krakow, Poland, she came to the United State as an very young girl and had resided in NYC, Allentown, Freehold, Buena Vista and Linden, NJ before settling to South Plainfield in 1960. Helen had worked as a Travel Agent for Linden Travel and later as a bookkeeper for Thul's Auto in Plainfield. She was a special person and was adored for a very caring wife, mother and grandmother. In addition, she enjoyed spending time baking and was known for those special occasion cakes. Surviving are her beloved husband of 51 years, Joseph, her four dear children, Susan Bontempo and her husband, David, Joanne Azulay and her husband, Yossi, Richard and his wife, Natalie and James, her brother; Anthony and six adoring grandchildren; Nylea, Natanel, Michael, Joseph, Liam and Renee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 9:30 until the time of the service in the funeral home.
