Obituary of Ruthann Delemo

Ruthann Delemo South Plainfield - Ruthann Delemo, 69, passed away on Sunday evening July 19, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Brooklyn, NY Ruthann had resided in South Plainfield and was a graduate of South Plainfield High School. She later resided in Piscataway for over 40 years prior to settling back to South Plainfield's senior residence seven years ago. Ruthann had been employed at Laser Diode in New Brunswick before retiring in the 1990's. For many years, Ruthann, enjoyed taking trips to the Bahamas and Atlantic City. She was also very creative and throughout her life, she loved crafts and the joy of cooking. Her husband, Thomas, died in 2000. She is also predeceased by her sister, Joan Lamar. Surviving are four sons, Raymond and his wife, Lisa, of Piscataway, Anthony & his wife, Lynn, Vincent and Thomas all of California. Also surviving is her daughter in law, Tabitha Krug of Piscataway. Ruthann was a doting grandmother to her 11 beloved grandchildren. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Committal services for immediate family will be held on Monday at Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway.
