Obituary of Gabriel Alejandro Carrasco-Reasco
Gabriel Alejandro Carrasco-Reasco, 20, became an angel on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2004, Gabriel moved to the United States in November 2022.
Gabriel, “Gabito,” was a gentle warrior from the moment he came into this world. He showed us how to hold onto faith without the need for weapons and how to express love without uttering a single word. His unwavering belief in the power of love and faith taught us that they have the ability to mend anything and everything.
Gabriel liked chocolate milkshakes and sweet bread. He loved listening to music, and his family enjoyed having him at family gatherings. Last summer, Gabriel spent several months at Saint Peter’s Hospital. He fought and held onto his life until the morning of March 10th when he spread his wings and passed peacefully surrounded by love with his mom, dad, and brothers at his home in Edison, NJ.
Gabriel was an angel on earth, and now he is resting in peace in a place where there is no more pain for him. His absence has left a profound void in the hearts of his family who were always there for him.
He leaves behind his loving family; his parents Johanna and Carlos, his brothers Carlitos and Jose Daniel Carrasco, his maternal grandparents Mamita Maru and Abuelo Carlos. He will be missed by his Aunties Mariuxi and Carla, uncle Mike, and cousins Nico and Michael. His family in the United States and Ecuador hold onto the memories of Gabriel with love in their hearts, knowing that his spirit will forever watch over them.

Gabriel siempre fue un guerrero, que dejó enseñanzas a fue familia y todas las personas que lo pudieron conocer. Fueron 20 años de una montaña rusa de emociones pero llena de mucho amor.
Nuestro niño, niestro Ángel Gabriel, nuestro Gabito como su familia lo llamábamos ya no está con nosotros. El partió a el cielo donde tenía su lugar guardado desde el día que Dios nos los prestó aquí en la tierra. Vuela alto mi Gabito! Gracias por enseñarnos que no se necesita decir una palabra para amar, que las guerras no solo se pelan con armas y que los milagros si existen, porque eso fue lo que fuiste nuestro guerreo, nuestra alma pura, nuestro ángel aquí la tierra. Te amamos y te llevaremos siempre en nuestros corazones Mi Gabito!
