Obituary of Patricia Ann Balsamo

Piscataway, NJ - Patricia Ann (Petrosky) Balsamo, 82, surrounded by her loving family, passed away on September 27, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in Elizabeth to the late John and Marie (Luxich) Petrosky, Patricia was a longtime resident of Piscataway. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Elizabeth. Patricia retired from AT&T where she worked for many years in the tele-communications department. She had a love for knitting, puzzle books and enjoyed spending summers with her family at their beach home in Ocean City, Maryland. Predeceased by her beloved sister M. Madelyn Barosa, Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony and her children; Anthony Balsamo (Barbara) of Piscataway, Lori Meyers (Martin) of East Brunswick, Linda Petracca (Joseph) of Dunellen, and Patti Dolan (Michael) of Piscataway, loving brother, John Petrosky (Donna) of Roselle Park. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Heather Hayes (Greg), Anthony Balsamo (Melanie), Jessica and Tara Balsamo, Nicholas, Justin and Kristen Meyers, Joseph and Nina Petracca and Angela, Maria and Michael Dolan along with five great-grandsons; Bradley, Rocco, and Vincenzo Balsamo, Hunter and Ryder Hayes. Visitation will be held at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 3:00 - 7:00pm and on Monday, October 2, 2017 beginning 9:15am. Funeral services will be held 9:45am in the funeral home on Monday, October 2, 2017 followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
