South Plainfield - Mary Partika, 91, died Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center at Bridgewater.
Born in Eynon, PA, Mary resided in Newark before moving to South Plainfield in 1952.
She was employed in the cafeteria of the South Plainfield High School for 30 years before her retirement in 1976. Mary is a long time communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield.
Predeceased by her husband who died in 2004, Henry Partika; surviving are her four children, Larry and wife Maryann of Bridgewater, Brien and wife Linda of New Mexico, Mark and wife Debra of Ohio and Janet of Hackettstown, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by burial in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7PM.
