Obituary of Marion Ruth Nunn

Green Brook, NJ - Marion Ruth (Bennington) Nunn, 92, passed away on May 24, 2017 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington. Born in Bloomfield to her late parents Robert Bennington, Sr. and Mayme Lorraine Woodward, Marion grew up in Brielle and settled to Green Brook many years ago. Marion enjoyed spending her time as a housewife. In her earlier years, she worked at Chubb Insurance as a secretary and she enjoyed being an Avon rep. Marion was very active with her husband William, devoting countless hours to the Green Brook Rescue Squad and Green Brook Lions Club. Marion loved to spend time in the garden and belonged to the Green Brook Flower Club. Predeceased by her parents, two siblings; Robert Bennington, Jr. and Muriel Lentz, and her husband William Nunn, Marion leaves behind her loving family; daughters Deborah Figel of Middlesex and Melodie Doremus (John) also of Middlesex and her son William Nunn (Julie) of Charlotte, NC. She will be missed dearly by her six grandchildren; Walter "Wally" and Brett Figel, Billy and Brittney Nunn and Brielle and Courtney Doremus and her great-granddaughter Arabella Figel. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am religious service. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery located in Bound Brook.
