Mary Ann and kids. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of a great man. Mike worked for me at Flowserve and Limitorque for a number of years before my retirement in 2013. He was one of the most energetic, hard working, honest and nicest guys I had the pleasure of working with during my career. It was often said the Mike was the nicest sales guy you could ever find in the hectic New York area. He had that natural personality to get along with each of his customers from the maintenance guy all the way up to the president of each company. There wasn't a week gone by that Mike and I didn't talk about his customers, his job and especially his family, which he loved dearly. I am going to miss his sense of of humor and will have fond memories of him answering his phone with "Hello, this is Mike Balkun from the New York Office."
