Obituary of Keith Patrick Dunn

Washington, NJ - Keith Patrick Dunn, 39, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Vineland, he had lived in Bridgewater before moving to Washington in 2012. Keith was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after faithfully serving his country supporting Operation Desert Shield/Storm where he received the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the National Defense Medal. He was a former Police Detective with the Avalon Police Department. He loved fishing and was a volunteer with the Manville Fire Department before transferring to the Washington Township Fire Department. Keith was a motivational speaker and owned and operated www.KDCOP.com which is a nonprofit corporation that provides internet safety to parents and children. Keith leaves behind his loving wife of almost two years; Courtney (Daruk) Dunn, his parents; Rose (Dragotta) Dunn of Vineland and Robert Edward Dunn and his wife Cathy of Spartanburg, SC, and his brother Kevin Dunn and his wife Lauren of Bridgewater. He also leaves behind his extended family; mother-in-law Margaret Moscetti of Washington, brother and sister-in-law William and Corrinne Approbato and his nieces and nephews; Keirsten and Kurtis Dunn and Victoria, Rachel, Danielle and Billy Approvato. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 beginning 10:00 am in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 followed by burial at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation will take place in the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm and on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 9:30 am until the 10:00 am service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a military charity of your choice.
