Obituary of Donna J. Martinez

Donna J. Lawlor Martinez, 46, passed away May 22, 2015. Born in Elizabeth, she has resided in Piscataway since 1998 when she wed the love of her life, Nivardo. Donna was a Marketing Specialist with Nissan North America in Somerset. She was a loving, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and friend who will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her Mother, Ruth Lawlor who passed in 1980 and by her Step-Mother, Marita Lawlor who passed in 2010. Surviving are her loving husband of 17 years, Nivardo Martinez; her children, Gabriel and Melissa Martinez; her father James Lawlor; her 11 siblings, James Lawlor, Robert Lawlor, Eileen Lawlor, Michael Lawlor, Kathleen Serwin, Roy Traina, Eileen Montemurro, Thomas Traina, Marita Traina, Patrick Traina and Norine Marando, her 15 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Committal is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donna's name to the Cancer Institute of NJ, in honor and appreciation to Dr. Darlene G.
