Sergio A. Rodriguez, Jr. 48, of Middlesex, died suddenly in an automobile accident on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
Born in Plainfield to Sergio, Sr. and Sandy Rodriguez, he was raised in South Plainfield, before settling to Middlesex 15 years ago.
Sergio was best known for his love of cars. He used his passion for cars and knowledge of automotive technology to pursue a career as an auto parts specialist. Sergio enjoyed everything about cars, his '69 Camero and his Harley. He especially enjoyed rides in his Camero with his daughter and family time spent together watching his son race dragsters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sergio A. Rodriguez, Sr.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 18 years, Jennifer Loughran Rodriguez, his cherished children, Michael Sergio and Victoria Jane, his dear mother Sandy Rodriguez, his sisters, Annette Karns and husband Daniel and Terri Nolasko and husband Ben, as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00PM at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex. Funeral services will follow at 5:00PM at the funeral home.
