Phyllis Bates, 65, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 at JFK Medical Center, Edison.
Born in New Brunswick to the late William and Ruth Bates, she was a lifelong resident of Sayreville, where she and her family were parishioners of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church.
Phyllis was one of God's special children who enjoyed coloring, puzzles, and the time spent at home with her family.
Later in life, she resided at the Options Group Home 2 in Edison
.
She was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents, Florence and Frank Spreng, her parents William and Ruth, and her siblings, Kathleen, William, and John Bates.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends.
Interment will take place at 1:00PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at New Calvary Cemetery, Sayreville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis' memory to the Options Group Home 2, 33 Oak Drive, Edison, NJ 08837
