Stephan "Steven" J. Iwaneczko, 28, passed away May 26, 2015 at home. Born in Livingston, he was raised in Newark, Edison and lived in Brick. Steven was an Electrician with Mikulka Electric in Jackson, NJ. He had a heart of gold which touched everyone he came in contact with and his smile could light up a room. Steven was an avid animal lover and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a member of a stunt club (LWL). His hobbies included skateboarding, fishing, listening to music, working on cars and spending time with his friends and family. He also worked at M & L Power Systems in Old Bridge, NJ. Surviving are his loving father, Steve Iwaneczko and his step-mom Midge Soltes; his loving Mother Ruth Gocklin; his brother William Iwaneczko; his grandfather Leroy Gocklin; his godmother and aunt Cindy Gocklin Fischetti and his uncle James Fischetti; his aunt and uncle Mark & Lisa Gocklin; his uncle Bill Gocklin; his godfather and uncle Michael Iwanechko; his aunt Maria Iwanechko; his aunt and uncle John & Denise Ivan; his aunt Mary Gansz; his Aunt Priscilla Lopazanski and 16 cousins and numerous other family members. He will leave an empty space in our hearts and our lives. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steven's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 500 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of your choice.
