Obituary of Susan J. Zakashefski

Middlesex, NJ - Susan J. Zakashefski, 46, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick to her mother Dolores M. (Grobleski) and late father Frank J. Zakashefski, she has been a lifelong resident of Middlesex. Susan worked as an Office Manager for Mindtree located in Warren. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and loved her family, friends and co-workers at Mindtree unconditionally. She liked to spend time at home and loved the life she lived. Predeceased by her father Frank J. Zakashefski in 1995, Susan leaves behind her loving family; mother Dolores with whom she lived and loved unconditionally , brothers David "Nick" and his wife Debbie of Hillsborough, Michael and his wife Liz of Flordia, sister Deanna Salerno and her husband Joseph of Middlesex and her nephews; Joseph, Michael and Nicholas. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a religious service beginning 7:30 pm. At the request of the family, cremation services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations sent to the Plainfield Area Humane Society, 75 Rock Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060 would be appreciated.
