Obituary of Domenico Fazzolari

Domenico "Mimmo" Fazzolari70, passed away on January 24th 2017 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Tresilco, Reggio Calabria, Italy, to the late Carmelo and Maria Concetta Fazzolari, his family moved to Perth Amboy, NJ before Mimmo settled in Piscataway where he was a longtime resident. Mimmo was a talented barber and hair stylist. He owned and operated multiple businesses before opening Salon Per Té in Piscataway, for over 15 years, and retired to Ventnor City, NJ where he resided until his passing. Mr. Fazzolari was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Piscataway. He was an avid soccer player in his youth and maintained his athleticism throughout his life. He enjoyed time in Atlantic City and was known for his charismatic nature. Most of all, Mimmo enjoyed spending quality time with his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his dear siblings, Rosa, Giuseppina, Michael, Nicola, and Alfonse. Surviving are his loving daughters, Evelyn Joy Wasilik and husband Robert, Rosa Maria Fazzolari, and Marcella Fazzolari, his cherished granddaughter, Ryleigh Carlena, his dear siblings, Maria Madafferi, Graziella Corsaro and husband Luigi, Antoinette Pruscino and husband Lupo, Gina Antonelli, and Carmelo Fazzolari and wife Connie, as well as many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27th 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 8:30am on Saturday, January 28th at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00AM at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Piscataway. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Perth Amboy
