Obituary of Eleanor Palir

Middlesex, NJ - Eleanor (Hatrock) Palir, 84, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her home in the loving arms of her husband. Born in Upper Lehigh, PA to her late parents Michael and Elizabeth (Salitza) Hatrock, she settled to Middlesex in 1964. In her earlier years, Eleanor worked for Freeland Sportswear and later retired from the Middlesex School District where she worked for many years as a school aide. She had a love for her home and could always be found in her yard or decorating for any holiday. Eleanor was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex, enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, spending time with family and friends and her favorite past-time was playing BINGO. The last of thirteen siblings, she is also predeceased by her son George who died January 31, 1983. Eleanor leaves behind her loving husband George Palir, devoted daughter Maryann Hall, both of Middlesex and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 8:15 am until 8:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Burial will follow in Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
