Obituary of Virginia Rose Renner

Virginia Rose "Ginny" Renner, 90, passed away Tuesday June 2, 2015 at the Francis E. Parker Home in New Brunswick. Born in Bronx, NY to the late Anton and Margaret Pekarek, Ginny was raised in the Bronx until she moved to and settled in Piscataway in 1967. As a young woman, she loved art, singing and dancing. After she met and married her beloved spouse, Mr. Robert Renner on June 27, 1948 at St. Raymond's Church in Bronx, NY, she was a devoted Mother and excellent cook. In her later years, she loved to travel, had an extensive stuffed bear collection and loved animals. Ginny was predeceased by her loving husband Robert who passed away in 2006. Surviving are her children, Diane Stevens-Iommazzo, Denise Hogg, Robert J. Renner and Ginger Renner; her grandchildren, Melissa Waage, Kirsten Stevens-Dinardo, Eric Hoag, Erick Waage and her six great grandchildren, Hudson, Melody, Abraham, Ellianna, Tobin and Griffin. Funeral services will begin Friday 9:00 am from the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by a 10:00 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Interment will be in the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation hours are Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
