Jackson - Josephine Chambers, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at Bartly Healthcare in Jackson, NJ
Born and raised in Jersey City, Josephine resided in Piscataway for 25 years before relocating to Jackson with her daughter, Kathy.
Family was most important to Josephine; she enjoyed her time spent with her sisters, daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her husband who died in 2011, Thomas Chambers and three sisters, Rose Bishop, Connie Lambert and Eugina Cerretta; surviving are her daughter, Kathleen Fertal and husband Robert of Jackson; three grandchildren, Thomas Fertal and wife Kathryn, Allison Toth and husband Stephen and Steven Fertal and wife Kristen and her sister, Madeline Pomposelli.
She will also be missed by her seven great grandchildren, Christian, Benjamin, Samuel, Adam, Douglas, Eleanor and Landon.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10AM in St. Frances Cabrini RC Chruch, 208 Bound Brook Avenue Piscataway, NJ 08854, followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
