Obituary of Angelina Tagliaferro

Middlesex, NJ - Angelina "Angie" (Mangino) Tagliaferro, 92, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson (Somerset) Hospital, with her family at her side. Born in Bound Brook, daughter of the late Michael "Marino" Mangino and Rose (D'Alessandro) Mangino, she resided in Bound Brook and Plainfield before settling in Middlesex where she lived the past 58 years.Angie affectionately recalled the days she worked as a clothing inspector at a Bound Brook sewing factory. Those were days she cherished at a job she loved, but her biggest role was that of wife and mother. Angie lived for her family, and would go out of her way to help a loved one. She will be remembered for dancing with her husband Vincent at social functions, her keen sense of humor, and her warm generosity. Angie enjoyed spring flowers, Sunday drives, shopping for her family, and most of all watching her granddaughter perform in stage plays.Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers, Thomas "Bud", Pat, John, and Joseph Mangino, and sisters, Katie Soma, Florence "Francie" Megliola, Mary Maiullo, and Carmela Berdinella.Angie is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Vincent Tagliaferro, her son Anthony Tagliaferro and his wife Sharon of Middlesex, and daughter Maureen Tagliaferro of Middlesex. She also leaves behind a sister Emma Mangino of Middlesex, her adored granddaughter Tara Tagliaferro, and many nieces and nephews.Per Angie's wishes, her funeral services were private and she is buried in the family plot of St. Joseph Cemetery in Bound Brook.
