Middlesex, NJ - Irene (Evancho) Werner, 89, passed away on October 1, 2015 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Born in Eckley, PA to her late parents Peter and Anna Evancho, Irene lived in North Plainfield before moving to Middlesex in 1955.
Irene retired from Lyons VA Hospital in 1978 where she was a dedicated Registered Nurse. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex.
Predeceased by her husband Harry, Irene leaves behind her loving children; Richard Werner and his wife Betty of Laurence Harbor and Karen Lobby of Middlesex and her cherished granddaughter Kristin Lobby.
Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with mausoleum entombment following at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
