Obituary of Anna M. Rodgers

Bethlehem, PA - Anna M. (Saulnier) Rodgers, 80, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Corberrie, Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Armand and Adelle (T'Mont) Saulnier, Annie moved to New Jersey in 1969, settling in South Bound Brook and Middlesex until her move to Bethlehem eighteen years ago. Annie worked numerous clerical jobs throughout her career, but most recently she retired from Lafayette Elementary School in Bound Brook where she was a cafeteria aide. Annie enjoyed cooking, baking, singing music and playing the guitar. She loved spending time with her family and was notoriously known for her colorful sneakers, having over fifty pairs in her collection. Predeceased by her Husband Kenneth in 2015 and her brother Willard, Annie is survived by her loving family; son Vincent and his wife Patricia of Middlesex, daughter Karen Guerard and husband Scott of New Port Richie, FL and daughter Kathleen Holzer-Muniz and husband Ken also of Middlesex. Annie will be missed by her six grandchildren; Janice, Shawn, Joseph, Heather, Andrew and Eric, great-grandson Benjamin, her pet Yorkie, Pee-Wee, her brothers; Edmond, Norman, Herbert and Andrew and her sister Loretta. Visitation will take place at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4-8pm. A service reflecting Annie's life will take place at 6:45 pm. At the request of the family, cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations sent to St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA would be appreciated.
