Obituary of Patricia DeSanto

Patricia DeSanto, 60, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, NY.
Born in Plainfield, Patti had been a lifelong resident of Piscataway and graduated from Piscataway High School in 1976.
Patricia worked at the Bright Beginnings Preschool in Green Brook and for several years was a volunteer for the New Jersey Boxer Rescue. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time at the beach.
Predeceased by her father Allen Caswell Jr., and a brother Timothy Caswell, Patti is survived by her dear family, her husband of thirty-seven years, Albert; two daughters, Stephanie DeSanto and her boyfriend Nick Olexion and Samantha DeSanto and mother, Dorothy Caswell; three brothers, Allen Caswell III and his wife Janet, Gene Caswell all of Piscataway and Jeff Caswell and his wife Kim of Florida, her brother-laws and sister in-laws, Joann of Virginia, brother-in-law Alan DeSanto and wife, Andy and Jackie DeSanto of Hillsborugh, and Anthony and Kathy DeSanto of Manville. In addition to her loving family, Patti will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews and her boxer Bowe.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 beginning at 4pm in the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Rd. Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by a funeral service beginning at 7:30pm.
In lieu of flowers the DeSanto family has requested donations be made to the New Jersey Boxer Rescue www.njboxerrescue.com
