Obituary of Virginia "Babcia" Sulovski
South Plainfield, NJ – Virginia T. Sulovksi, lovingly known as Bobcia, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born in Irvington to the late Michael and K. Marion (Wolek) Petruoly, Bobcia has been a resident of South Plainfield since 1957.
Bobcia loved spending time with her family as a homemaker and she enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the family beach house in Lavallette. She was also an active member of The Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield.
Predeceased by her siblings; Michael and Norma Petruoly, Babcia is survived by her loving and devoted family; husband Joseph of sixty-three years, children; Joseph and his wife Laura of Bethlehem Township, Michele Ford and her husband James of Green Brook, Peter and his wife Lisa of Milford and Ginger of Cape May, eight grandchildren; Joseph, Benjamin, Jake, Michelle, Jenna, Leanne, Peter J. and James and six great-grandchildren; Milana, Barrett, Leo, Luke, Isabella and Joey.
Funeral services will begin 9:30 am in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 with a 10:00 am funeral mass to follow at The Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield. Burial will take place at Hollywood Cemetery in Union.
