Obituary of Rose T. Hoelzel
South Carolina – Rose Therese Hoelzel, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
Born and raised in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Brown) McNamee. Rose resided in Elizabeth, NJ where she met her late husband, Richard during a CYO meeting. The pair relocated to Middlesex Borough where they raised their children and were devoted parishioners Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Rose was involved in her children’s day to day activities as class room mom and making PTO functions.
Rose is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Richard H. Hoelzel; son, Richard Hoelzel; two brothers, Joseph and Bernard McNamee and infant daughter, Mary.
Surviving are her two sons: Roger (Laura) Hoelzel of Toms River, Bill (Ann) Hoelzel of Hillsborough; two daughters: Karen Hoelzel (Debbie Faiello) of Milford, Patricia (Charlie) Boyle of Somerset; four grandchildren: Kristen, Allison, Matthew Hoelzel and Erin Boyle.
A memorial gathering will be held on June 8, 2019 at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex NJ 08846 from 9-11AM.
