Obituary of Elizabeth Koffah
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we the Saab, Koffah, and Sieh families, announce the death of our beloved mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Elizabeth Nysenah Koffah.
Our loss occurred on Monday, June 3, 2019 in South Plainfield, NJ.
Our mother was born in Kumasi, Ghana July 2, 1933 to Liberian parents, Wleh Worthor and Tanneh Juwle. She was the eldest of five children. The family returned home from Ghana in 1949 and lived in Monrovia, Liberia.
She will be missed dearly and we will cherish her memories forever. She is survived by her siblings, Blamoh and and Nyepan, children; Weafue, Balie, Torh, Gbeh, Feflah, Tanneh, Nyantoh, Juagbe, and Chea; her grandchildren, Bonyenno, Weafue, Doienne, Musu, Ahway, Wenti, Walter, Worther, Nyesnah (Mammie) and her great grandchildren, Talloh, Torh, and Nyesnah (Sanai). Daughters-in-law: Yvonne, Desiree and Lolita. Our mother was pre-deceased by parents, two daughters and a younger brother and sister.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4-8pm in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 beginning at 9am in the funeral home followed by a 10am funeral mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, North Plainfield, NJ 07060.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
