RIP Duncan. I first met Duncan, when he was teaching the Tri-County Pipe Band in NJ back in the early 90s. He was a wealth of knowledge and a juggernaut of a personality. It was always a pleasure to see him at the games and specifically, Hunter Mountain, each year. I made sure to get into his "Massed Band Wave" since he was sure call out the "Marine Corp Hymn". The streets of Heaven are safer this week, with another Marine on guard.

I was saddened to hear of Duncan's passing. I want to send my deepest sympathy to all of you. I read his obituary in the Asbury Park Press and I was so shocked. Duncan and I grew up in Garwood and I was a classmate of his at Lincoln School in Garwood. Of course after 8th grade my family moved to Roselle Park and I guess that Duncan went to high school with the others that were from Garwood.
