Obituary of Anna Williamson

Anna Williamson, 101, died on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Bridgewater.

Born and raised in Maine, Anna lived in Newark prior to settling to South Plainfield in 1950.

Anna graduated from Lincoln Academy High School in 1935 and worked as a bookkeeper for the former Firemen’s Insurance Co. in Newark before raising her family.

Mrs. Williamson was a member of the South Plainfield Senior Citizens and enjoyed yoga but truly loved spending time with family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband James, her sister, Barbara and her brother Wallace and is survived by her two sons, Gerald Williamson and his wife Patricia of Piscataway and James Williamson Jr. and his wife Geraldine of Branchburg; three grandchildren, Jamie Azzinnari and her husband Pat and Gerald and Michael Williamson and two great grandchildren, Ashley and Ava Azzinnari.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10am in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
