Lanoka Harbor – Lucille V. (Maiellaro) Barone, 89, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 26, 2019.  Born in Queens, NY to the late Giuseppe and Conchetta (DelVecchio) Maiellaro, Lucille moved to South Plainfield in 1955, Piscataway in 1960 and settled to Brick in 1979.  Most recently, Lucille resided with her daughter in Lanoka Harbor.

 

Lucille loved to sew and worked as a seamstress in the Garment District of NY, at Bambergers in Plainfield and retired from Drum Point Cleaners in Brick. 

 

Predeceased in 2004 by her husband Pasquale, whom joined hands in marriage on June 6, 1954, she leaves behind her loving and devoted family; daughter Antoinette Whitman and husband Wayne and Michael Barone and his wife Lisa of Lakewood as well as two grandchildren; Nicole and her husband Charles S. May and Deanna Barone and two great-grandchildren; Alexsandra and Roman May.

 

Funeral services will be held in Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 beginning with visitation at 10:00 am followed by a religious service at 11:00 am.  Lucille will be laid to rest beside her husband at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
