Obituary of John Andrew Jakubowsky

Phillipsburg, NJ – John Andrew Jakubowsky, 44, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Clinton with his loving wife at his side.  Born in Flemington to John and Linda (Danek) Jakubowsky, John lived in Middlesex until moving to Phillipsburg in 2010.

A 1993 graduate of Middlesex High School, John continued his studies in Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management at the NY Restaurant School where he graduated in 1999.  For the last twelve years, John was an Operations Manager for New Jersey Door Works in Hillside.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and farming.

Predeceased by his father, John leaves behind his wife Kelly Schiessl of Clinton, mother Linda Jakubowsky of Middlesex, brother Michael of Phillipsburg, aunts and uncles Joseph and Nancy Yuzuik of Bridgewater, Dennis and Kathy O’Connor of Phillipsburg and Michael Jakubowsky of Middlesex.

Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
