Obituary of Belinda Bertina Chandradeo

Jamaica, NY – Belinda Bertina Chandradeo, 12, passed away in the early hours of July 20, 2020 after a long fight with cancer.  Born in New Amsterdam, Guyana to Garey and Natasha (Lewis) Chandradeo, Belinda lived with her extended family in New York.

She leaves behind her loving and devoted family; her parents who are back home in Guyana, her grandmother Vishwati “Selena” Ramnauth, Granfather Ramesh, Aunt Shelly Chandradeo, Uncle Mukesh Persaud, Aunt Debbie Rangasammy, Uncle Bryan Rangasammy, Uncle Ravi Persaud, Aunt Karis Persaud, cousins;  Stacy Persaud, Cassie Persaud ,Lisa Persaud, Aaliyah Persaud and cousins; Matthew Rangasammy and Allison Rangasammy, and cousin Nigel Chandradeo, all of Queens, NY.

Also surviving are her siblings; Terrance Joseph Lewis, Nickasie Lewis, Tanesha Lewis and Decia Deyounge all back home in Guyana.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  A religious prayer service will start at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery located in Scotch Plains.
