My sincere condolences to the family. I have known Mrs. Shoppe for 14 years as she was a client of the company I work. with. It was always a pleasure when she came in. That spunk, feistiness and her humor made my day! She wasn't afraid to speak her mind and would let you know it! I will never forget her and will miss her visits. Rest in your Heavenly sleep.

You have been a presence in my entire life. I can't remember a time when you were not there. You and mom running here and there for this or that. I'd been watching TV and in came Mrs. Shoppe with the latest magazines to swap with mom. Always taking the time for me, never coming or going without saying a hello how are you Deb? Growing up with you in our home was second nature and thus, you became my second mom. Hands down! We could talk about everything. This only continued to grow as we both grew older. Even moving to Holland didn't matter. You came with mom and my home in Holland was filled with laughter. That was so wonderful. We always corresponded and when I came home for my visits, it was always first to Kitty for a quick hello. IHOP, Red Lobster and Cracker Barrel. I was always driving you and mom around. To Pennsy to the best Christmas Shops. When mom passed, I continued our visits. I loved meeting you on my daily walks. Always bundled up in three layers, lipstick and earrings on! The little things we did together were the most memorable. Going to church, sitting in the kitchen or den talking. Helping in the yard and shoveling snow. I still had you even tho my mom was gone. and now...... you are with her. She is once again complete and I shall bare the loss of my dearest second mother. I shall miss you always. Thank you for your kindness and being such an influential person in my life. Rest well. This is what you have wanted for quite some time.
