Obituary of John Burinda
John W. Burinda, 82, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Summit, John resided in Scotch Plains before relocating to South Plainfield 35 years ago.
He worked for the former Economics Laboratory in South Plainfield and was an avid steam train enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife Carol; sons, John of Roselle Park and William and his wife Karen of FL.; sister, Joan O’Bannon of TN. and grandchildren, Gavin, Anysia and Isabella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 beginning at 11am followed by a 12pm funeral service in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia.
