Joseph Greco, 95, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at home.

Born and raised in New York City, Joe resided in Franklin Twp. After marriage he and his late wife Helen resided in Bound Brook and Manville before settling to Piscataway over 60 years ago.

A veteran of WWII, Joe served with the Army from 1943 – 1946. During his active duty service Joe was stationed in Central Europe where numerous battles were fought.  As result of his bravery he was awarded several citations including a Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, World War 2 Victory Medal and the Distinguished Unit Badge.

In addition, Mr. Greco was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini RC Church in Piscataway.

Predeceased by his wife Helen, Joe is also predeceased by his two siblings Virginia and Matthew.

Surviving are his children, Helen Goldstein and her husband Steve, Joseph Greco and his wife Roz, Thomas Greco and his wife Donna and Robert Greco. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Rd Piscataway, NJ 08854.

Due to the ongoing Covid -19 guidelines a private funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Cabrini RC Church, Piscataway.

Following mass, Mr. Greco will be laid to rest alongside his wife Helen at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
