Obituary of Jacqueline Green
Middlesex, NJ – Jacqueline Green, 59, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville after a four week battle with covid-19. Born in Plainfield, Jackie lived in Dunellen for twenty years, moved to North Plainfield for five years and for the last twenty-nine years, she was proud to call Middlesex her home.
Jackie worked for several years at Watchung and Hazelwood Schools where she worked with the special needs children. Most recently, she enjoyed the children she taught at Big Hugs, LLC in Middlesex.
Jackie loved spending time, especially summers at the Jersey Shore. She had a passion for baking and cooking and she was the happiest when she was with the children, especially the children with special needs.
She was also a member of Bound Brook Presbyterian Church located in Bound Brook.
Predeceased by her brother Michael, sister Delores and mother Marie Giordano, Jackie leaves behind the love of her life, husband Robert and their son Michael, both of Middlesex, as well as her two sisters, Chanelle of Bridgewater and Adrienne of Dunellen, brother-in-law Glenn Green of Springfield, sister-in-law Lynn Salpetro and her husband Jim and brother-in-law Rick Miranda. Jackie is also survived by nieces and nephews; Chris, Ashlyn, Nick, Arielle and Krystle as well as many dear friends and children whom she has taught throughout the years.
Due to the current pandemic, a private burial at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook will be held. In the future, a memorial service will be held honoring Jackie’s life.
