Obituary of Frances Riepe

Middlesex, NJ – Frances Pardo Riepe, 60, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville on Thursday, January 28, 2021.  Born on Staten Island, NY to the late Gaspar J. and Dolores Pardo, Fran moved to Scotch Plains in 1970, resided in Roselle Park for a short time before moving to North Plainfield and finally settling to Middlesex in 1985.

Fran was currently the Administrative Secretary to the Superintendent of Middlesex Public Schools.  She loved to cook, spending time with her family, enjoyed every moment of being a mom and loved going to Long Beach Island where she could relax, and enjoy her feet in the sand.

Fran leaves behind her loving family; husband Gerardo A. Riepe and son Nicholas P. Riepe of Middlesex, as well as her sister Maria Pardo-Thompson of Cape Coral, FL and aunt Dolores Netusil of Millar Place, NY.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, January 31, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm.  Father Peter Suhaka will hold a religious prayer service at 3:30 pm and a private cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) would be appreciated.

During this ongoing pandemic, according to Executive Orders and the CDC guild lines, we kindly ask that face masks must be worn while visiting, to be mindful of physical distancing to the best of your ability, and are asking visitors to minimize time spent indoors to allow everyone a chance to pay their respects.
