James Nash

Age: 82 * Dunellen, NJ

Dunellen, NJ – James Nash, 82, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 18, 2021.  Born in Nanticoke, PA to the late Michael and Dorothy (Robins) Nash, Jim has been resident of Dunellen since  1975.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States National guard  Army reserve from  1956 till he was honorably  discharged in 1964. Jim entered the workforce and after thirty-seven years, he retired in 2001 from Wakefern Corporation / Shoprite in Elizabeth.

He was a proud member of Calvary Tabernacle Church in Cranford and belonged to their choir for over twenty years.  He loved spending time with his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Jim leaves behind his loving family; wife Mary Ellen (Sallitt) Nash, daughter Diane Marie Boyd and her husband Harold, sons; James Patrick Nash and his wife Rhea and Steven Phillip Nash.  He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; Isaiah, Jonathan, Cain, Kellen, Kaleb, Guy and Sophia as well as his two brothers; Garret and Edwin Nash.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Cranford on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. 

At the request of the family, cremation will be held privately.
