Ann DiPaolo

Age: 96 * Piscataway

Piscataway, NJ – Ann DiPaolo, 96, passed away at her residence with her caregiver and family at her side on April 20, 2021.  Born in Perth Amboy to the late John and Mary (Czebataronna) Lewczyk, Ann lived in Plainfield before settling to Piscataway sixty-two years ago.

Ann enjoyed spending time with her family as a homemaker.  She enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City with her husband and liked to play cards with her sisters.  Formerly, she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church.

Predeceased by her husband Anthony who died in 2009 and by all of her siblings, Ann was the last of seven children.  She leaves behind her loving children; Theresa Edwards and her husband Bert of Hillsborough, Anthony of South Plainfield and Peter and his wife Amy of Milford.  She is also survived by four grandchildren; Joseph and his wife Gina, Kenneth, Anthony and Jacqueline, three great-grandchildren; Dominick, Madison and Joey and her devoted caregiver, Lali.

At the request of the DiPaolo family, services will be held private and Ann will be buried with her husband in the family plot of Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.  In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to VNA Hospice, c/o VNA Health Group Foundation, 23 Main Street, Suite D1, Holmdel, NJ 07733 (www.vnahg.org/support-hospice)
