Obituary of Martha L. Del Monaco
South Plainfield – Martha L. Del Monaco, 81, died Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Brooklyn to the late Dominic and Mary Milo, Martha grew up in Union. She settled in South Plainfield with her late husband in 1961, and the pair raised their two children. Martha enjoyed spending time with the South Plainfield Seniors, taking day trips to casinos and most recently, gathering in Spring Lake Park.
Predeceased by her husband who died in 2002, Alfred Del Monaco; surviving are two children, Maria Publik and husband Joseph of Arizona and Richard Del Monaco of Titusville, NJ. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Ryan, Tyler, Nicole and Shaina.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 17, 2021 from 9-11AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080, a blessing will begin at 11AM.
Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
