Middlesex, NJ – John Suckoe, Jr., 69, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick on September 6, 2021.  Born in Warren, John has lived most of his life in Middlesex.
 

He was an estimator for Harris Steel in South Plainfield and devoted his life to helping others.  In 1977, John joined the Middlesex Fire Department and currently was a member with the Pierce Fire Company #3.

 

John loved working, spending time at any live music venue and could always be found with his brothers at the fire department or at the truck club.

 

Predeceased by his mother and father; Elizabeth (Faynor) and John, Sr., John leaves behind his four children; Sarah Suckoe, Jonathan and his wife Tyler Spano, Rebecca and her fiancé Jonathan and Michael Suckoe.  He also leaves behind his longtime companion; Barbara Dunn, grandchildren; Rylie, Madelynn, Kenneth and Everleigh as well as the mother to his children and devoted friend; Kathie Suckoe.

 

Visitation will be at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Thursday, September 9, 2021 beginning at 4:00pm.  Middlesex Fire Department will hold a service at 7:30pm followed by concluding prayers.

 

At the request of the Suckhoe family, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in John’s name to the American Heart Association.
